In this privacy policy, we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data when using our website.

7. Hosting & server log files

Our website is hosted by IONOS SE (formerly 1&1 Internet SE), Brauerstraße 48, 76135 Karlsruhe, Germany.
When you visit our website, the provider automatically collects data in so-called log files (e.g. page accessed, date/time, amount of data transferred, browser type, IP address).
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the technical functionality and optimisation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
A contract for order processing (Art. 28 GDPR) has been concluded with the host.

This website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to analyse your use of the website. The information collected about your use of this website (including your truncated IP address) is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We use Google Analytics exclusively with IP anonymisation enabled. This means that your IP address is truncated within the member states of the EU or in other contracting states of the EEA before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

The data is used to evaluate the use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage.

The use of Google Analytics is based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25 TTDSG). You can revoke your consent at any time via our consent tool.

Storage period:
The data stored by Google that is linked to cookies is automatically deleted after 14 months.

Order processing & third-country transfer:
We have concluded a contract with Google for order processing. For data transfers to the USA, Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

10. External services –
Font Awesome

We use Font Awesome, provided by Fonticons, Inc., to ensure uniform font display. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts from the provider's servers. Your IP address is transmitted in the process.
Use is based on our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of the website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

11. Applications

We process personal data (name, contact details, application documents) as part of the application process. Processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of selecting suitable candidates (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG).
Upon hiring, the data is transferred to the personnel file. Rejected applications are deleted after 6 months at the latest, unless longer storage is required by law or expressly requested by you.
You may revoke your consent at any time.

12. Data security /
SSL encryption

Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by the padlock symbol in the browser bar. This ensures that transmitted data cannot be read by third parties.
In addition, we use technical and organisational security measures (TOMs) that are regularly reviewed and adapted to the state of the art.
